Di Maio Design Associates Architect Inc.
Seeking a Intern Architect/ Intermediate Architectural Technologist with a minimum of 7-10 years relevant professional experience on a variety of building typologies including; institutional, commercial and residential projects. Our immediate needs are for a working drawing team member to assist in the preparation of construction documents. The ideal candidate chosen would gain experience in a variety of building types and develop into a long term position.

Qualifications to include:

• Architectural degree or College diploma in Architectural Technology required.
• 7-10 professional experience.
• Demonstrate experience in design and working drawings for construction.
• Strong working knowledge of the Ontario Building Code and municipal bylaws.
• Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Office and Adobe Creative Suite is also required. Knowledge of SketchUP and Revit would be an asset.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills and strong command of the English language.

Duties Include:

• The individual we are seeking will be involved throughout all phases of our projects from schematic design through construction.
• Assist Architect in design process.
• Produce comprehensive working drawings for construction.
